Born from the environmental redevelopment of the old company of the local Agricultural School, the Mediterranean Biodiversity Park is an interaction between nature and culture, spaces dedicated to play, sports and recreational activities, the wildlife housed in the CRAS (center for the recovery of wild animals).
The part of the park dedicated to games is made up of free access areas designed specifically for children.
The design of all the games, within the "Park of the elves", was based on the paradigm of the game as a source of growth, development of the imagination and together with psycho-motor skills.
All the facilities, including the larger ones, a multi-level castle with towers and passages at high altitude and a pirate ship, are made of wood and natural materials; to increase the safety of the play areas, an anti-trauma flooring in rubber granulate, covering with shock-absorbing properties, was used.
