Solza play area
Castles, slides, climbing, swings, but also paths, fitness area and balance area. These are just some of the play systems installed by Gea Fun Experience in Solza, a small town in the province of Bergamo, where a beautiful public green area has been redeveloped thanks to the installation of a playground with wooden installations - which fit well into the environment. natural - designed to be used by younger children, but not only.
Where is it
Solza, a small town of about 2,000 inhabitants located about 15 km west of the Bergamo capital, a few kilometers from the Brembate exit of the A4 Milan-Venice motorway.
A playful-recreational green oasis
The needs were clear: the play facility had to be usable by younger children, but also by older children and fitness enthusiasts. The project, shared with the municipal administration and the technical office, was designed to meet the needs of the people who frequent the green oasis and is divided into different areas. At the entrance to the park, near the refreshment area, there is the <Kids> area, the one dedicated to children, with a castle, slide, climbing and swing. In the central part there is the largest playground, a <Junior> area with Tibetan bridges, climbing, free climbing, swinging logs and much more. Finally, there is the fitness area with the street workout in hot-dip galvanized steel in black and steel and the 30-meter cable car on the hill. The various sports play areas - all of which rise in the shade of centuries-old trees that ensure the playground can be used even in the hottest months - are all connected by walkways in colored concrete. The area was also equipped with street lamps, cameras and a fountain.
The area complies with regulation 1176/77 and is equipped (in compliance with this regulation) with anti-trauma flooring made with 2-3 mm rounded gravel.
Time of realization
10 working days, which involved a team for the assembly of the games, a team for the construction of the paths, a team for electrical installations (street lamps and cameras), an excavator, a three-axle truck.
